Repair Policy
S.A. Instrument Services will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to equipment during transportation.
All parts and Equipment provided will be subject to the original suppliers warranty terms and conditions.
Title to all parts and Equipment provided will remain with S.A.Instrument Services until payment is received in full.
S.A.Instrument Services has an extensive list of loan equipment that can be provided to our customers on request. The customer is responsible for the freight costs of the loan equipment including the return freight costs of the equipment to our workshop. The customer is solely responsible for any loss or damage occurred to the S.A.Instrument Services loan equipment while on their premises or in transit.
All equipment to be returned for repair and/or calibration will need to be issued with service repair number and service repair form that must be completed and signed. The form must accompany the equipment. Once the equipment is evaluated a quotation will be faxed to the customer detailing the action needed, cost of the repair and a request for a purchase order number. Goods will not be returned unless a purchase order number has been received.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that all equipment is decontaminated before being returned for repair and/or calibration to S.A. Instrument Services.
A quote rejection fee applies to all repairs to cover our evaluation costs. This fee is wavered if the quotation is accepted.
S.A. Instrument Services will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to equipment while undergoing any type of service on S.A. Instrument Services premises.
A minimal loan fee will apply to cover our costs in regards to the evaluation of the loan unit on its return
